SUMMARY:Truth or Consequences\, NM.  Dirt Bike Trip
DESCRIPTION:With some fresh upgrades to my XR650R I’m super excited for this years Truth or Consequences\, New Mexico ride. If you’ve been with the group for awhile you’ll know we head down to TorC every Jan and it is a blast! This area has some incredible terrain\, history\, scenery and decent weather this time of year. Day time temps are usually 50-60 with very little chance of rain. \n  \nDirt bikes and intermediate skills required. The terrain here is rocky and sandy. Fast desert riding\, tight single track and washes are the norm. \n  \nWe will plan to hit Palomas Gap\, Hatch\,NM\, San Mateo Mts\, and endless miles of desert trails. There are miles of trails right in town that we can hit in the evenings as daily “last hurrahs”. \n  \nWe will be renting a house to stay in. Cost is for the entire duration of the trip. No discounts for late arrival/early departure. Limited to 8 riders. \n  \nI’m trying something new this year. I’ve divided the house rental cost up based on beds and room situation\, that way we aren’t all paying the same price when one guys got his own shitter and one guys set up under a stairwell! First come first served.  \n  \nPlease bring food and libations to share. I’ll plan to make breakfast every morning before we head out. \n  \nPlease carry a gps and have basic maps of the area download and be able to get yourself home if we get separated. Please also have a plan to get yourself and you bike back home if you should get injured. \n  \nAs always please call with any questions 970-308-0374
